Hartwells is situated in the middle of  Bourton-on-the-Water, which is close to the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border.We are 16 miles East of Cheltenham, 20 miles West of Oxford and 8 miles South of Moreton-in-Marsh.   There is a regular bus service from Cheltenham to Bourton-on-the-Water, and also from Moreton-in-Marsh to Bourton-on-the-Water and regular train services from Moreton-in-Marsh to London, Paddington.   Bourton is an ideal starting point for a cycling tour of the Cotswolds.

Hire All Year Round

Cycle hire is available every day of the year.     Route maps and advice on places to visit are provided free of charge, to enable you to explore the Cotswold countryside at your own pace.    Please note, though, that there are very few proper cycle tracks around Bourton. We are happy to recommend scenic routes away from major roads and on the quiet country lanes.

 

 Cycles are hired for road use only !

 

We do not hire e-bikes, but have a huge variety of cycles

 

We regret that we do not offer a delivery service

• Helmets to suit all sizes and ages

• A puncture repair kit, pump & spare tube  (just in case !)

• Local route maps

• Lots of helpful advice on things to see and do
